The 4th of July

For the 4th we went to Freeman and Tiffany Carney's house. We went swimming and had a barbeque. I was rushing trying to get everything we needed packed up since we weren't going to come home before we went to the fireworks. Well, Richard got all the kids in the car while I was doing this. After I got in the car and we drove off Richard asked me, "Did you look at your daughter?" I turned around to see that Brooklynn had found a purple marker and written all over her body, including her face. At first I was irritated, but now that I look at the picture and think about it it is actually hillarious. I was afraid it wouldn't come off, but it did while she swam.
Went to Buckeye to see the fireworks. The wind really started to blow, there was lightening and a little rain. It was hard to see because there was so much dust. Grandma and Grandpa were there with us. They bought the girls light up necklaces and we visited with them while we waited for the weather to get better. Unfortunately it didn't and the fireworks were cancelled! We were a little bummed, but definetly ready to get out of the dust.
